Posting for a friend of mine:
He recently secured access to approximately 1,000 acres just outside of Mobile and is considering adding one or maybe but doubtful two like-minded individuals to his lease. Currently, it's just him, his 75-year-old father (who only hunts a few times a year), and a buddy. Both he and his friend have multiple other leases, so this property isn’t intended to be their primary hunting spot—more of a convenient addition to their rotation.
That said, the property is not turn-key. It needs some attention: food plots, trimming roads, general cleanup, etc. According to the neighbors, it hasn't been legally hunted in the past three years, so there’s reason to believe the game population is in good shape. I’ve personally walked the property with him and believe it has real potential in the right hands.
The land is a nice mix—mature pines on a burn rotation, a few creeks, beaver ponds, and hardwood ridges/bottoms.
He’s not actively searching for someone to join, but would consider the right person to help offset some of the feed, food plot costs and assist with working the property.
What he's looking for: First and foremost, someone who is willing to contribute—not just financially, but also physically. He values someone who puts more into the land than they take out of it. He’s also looking for someone who will hunt smart—not over-pressure the property, and who will be mindful of how their presence affects the overall experience. Yes, it's in central Mobile County, but this will not be a brown-and-down lease.
Bonus opportunity: He's also open to granting turkey rights in exchange for someone who can provide tractor work.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in and you’re the kind of hunter who’s more about stewardship than just showing up and shooting, feel free to reach out.

I’d like to talk to him about the turkeys. I have two tractors and every implement needed, and work 7x7 rotation. I’ll send you a pm.

I have a whole fleet of equipment. I also have someJuan that can take care of all the manual labor. I’d have to have exclusive turkey rights, though. 😁
