Have some small trees I cut down in our yard that are sending up shoots. What's a good way to poison and kill the stump?

I'm sure you will get plenty of other options but drilling 1/4" holes and filling with salt worked on some stubborn crepe myrtle stumps in my yard.

Its better to be a warrior in the garden than a gardener in war.

Some people feel the rain others just get wet.

On a side related note, I have a bunch (like 10) shrub stump clusters down my driveway that make cutting the grass around them a PITA. I’m weighing my options between renting a stump grinder or finding a barrel to put around them and burning them out.

The latter would be cheaper but the former would be a lot more time efficient.

Be careful with it, but Arsenal is a soil neutralizer that will kill things you may not want to kill.

Be cheaper to buy the RM78 at TSC. Gly plus 0.78% Imazapyr (Arsenal). You can apply to fresh cut stumps.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Tordon RTU you can buy it at tractor supply. Cut the stump fresh and paint the top with it. I've used it to kill just about everything with it.

This same method with a half inch paddle bit and epsom salt

This is the route I’d go. Give stump freed coat then apply fully covering stump.
