Me and my wife buy most of our appliances off ebay as new old stock..we have done this to avoid purchasing chinese junk and overpaying for new made in usa items, it has helped us afford nice reliable items. We are still on our first 1984 model toaster..been using it for 10 years without fail..an we have 3 more just like it unopened in the box..an we paid about $15 for all three
