2.3 miles so far and not a gobble. Flushed a hen in the middle of a cutover. Imma give it about another hour. Worst year in memory for gobbling activity.

Heard one gobble twice in the tree and 3 times on the ground. He should have moved on, but hung around too long. It’s crazy how site specific turkeys can be. Or how different hunters might view the same season. It’s a Small sample size for me, but it’s been the best gobbling season I can remember since the golden days of the early 2000s
