I've seen people gag like that when we find their deer and its a ripe gut shot or something.....It cracks me up every time.....Some folks are lot more sensitive to that kind of stuff.

For me it is sounds and smell. If someone pukes around me and I hear it - I have to walk away, if I hear it and smell it - there is a VERY good chance I’m going to gag/puke.

Gut shot deer will make me gag every time.

I tried hakarl when I went to Iceland(this is the national dish after all). It wasn’t for me. But I had the best fish and chips of my life there and washed it down with Egils Gull lager.

I rekin smells dont bother me too bad..an i can force myself to eat about anything if i have to…i ate some chicken noodle soup out out of a vending machine that had been unplugged for several years and the can had rusted through…i got food poisoning…then an inlarged colon..and colitis…wound up in the hospital because of my stupidity..dont eat spoiled things.

You aren't kidding. In AZ we had some neighbors that were from MN and Scandanavian in origin. They loved that stuff and got us to try it one time. If I need to gag I can just go back in my mind to trying it. No need for the finger down the throat for me.

I can look at anything and I've pretty much seen it all as far as what can happen to a body, but I don't deal with smells too well. The officers on my shifts knew this too and loved to call me to the scene of the rottenest bodies they came across.

Yo Gatorbait, were you on on the tiger shark episode with your BIL?? Saw a video of when the FSU students cut that sucker open and a half decomposed dolphin came out. People were throwing their guts up due to that smell. Not talking mahi, but flipper.

Sounds don’t bother me. However smells are a different story. Read my dead freezer post. If I’m eating I get really squeamish with sights, sounds or smells. I can’t even eat a burger while driving because if I see roadkill I’m done. 😂

I remember the show where Andrew Zimmerman ate that shit. He gagged and that dude will eat damned near anything.
