Looks like an Alaska game law got him for 10K, http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-ted-nugent-bear-20120420,0,6082266.story seems he arrowed a bear and was never able to retrieve it so he went and arrowed another bear. According to Alaska regs you cant do that. 10 grand, but he'll make it up on the tv show.

10 G's to Ted would be like 10 dollars to most of us.
Is this a felony? I doubt it, but if so, he has some serious lifestyle changes to make!

Where is BGH???? I thought you lost the rights to hunt in Alaska for years if you did something like that.

he lost hunting rights in Alaska and on any US Forest land, don't remember the time frame though.
it is a Federal misdemeanor, Federal Lacy Act, transporting illegal game across state lines.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I really dont understand why so many of us keep him in high standing. he's just a rock star who has made a living off of showing off his entire life.

Same in my book as the Dixie Chicks, just on our side of the fence instead of theirs. At least he has enough brains to side with the good guys, though!

I read somewhere that Alaska has a reciprocal agreement with 34 other states that would allow these states to also restrict him hunting priviledges as well. Two offenses in two years looks like he is on someone's watch list!

Two offenses in two years looks like he is on someone's watch list! A lot of these guys are getting busted because they are putting it on TV or video! There are so few mainstream celebrities on our side, I think that is why we look at him the way that we do. Some other celebs need to step up, the ones you hear that they hunt, but keep it low key to avoid controversy.
