If you secure your harness above your stand about three feet and adjust your lifeline rope so it extended all the way out when you sit down, it should allow you turn around in your stand and not interfere with a shot to the right, unless you have a head the size of watermelon.

Attach your strap lower, so when you stand up, the strap is about even with your beltline. That way it falls down and out of the way.
That's why I use a safety "Belt" for bow hunting. I am not saying you should use a belt, because a harness is much safer and less likely to cause injury. But the belt is my personal choice because it allows me more freedom of movement.

Use a harness with a longer rope. The setup that came with my summit stand works great. Put the rope around the tree about head height and with a little extra length, it'll curl down behind you with room to shoot to the right.
