I was hunting yesterday. And seen a car pulling into one of the neighbors greenfields.And then at four thirty i heard two rifle shots from that direction. why do people like to hunt illegaly and not obey the law. i had 3 deer coming from behind me when the guy shot and they took off running.  they could have been my first bow kill
I can skin a buck, and i can run a trot line, and a countryboy can survive

they wasnt related to my neighbor in anyway. i told him about it and he chased them down, but they hadnt left the woods yet and he said they were hunting illegaly like last year he said they dont have permission at all. thanks i just wish it would happen sooner , i can kill them with a gun but have yet ta kill one with a bow

dont pick up a gun...bow hunt all season. you'll get one with a bow just dont give up....

The last time I saw someone pull up across from an area I was hunting the guy ended up putting the gal on the hood and they started doing the "two minute quiver".
I should have popped a cap and yelled you better get off my woman!!!

Some people are just plain lazy and sorry. They just dont care about others peoples stuff/rights/privacy/etc. Why didnt your neighbor call the game warden if they were still there and have done it in the past? Originally posted by MarkBAMA:

My neighbor shot "something" with a high powered rifle about 15 minutes before dark tonight.
I got a feeling it was deer (from past experience with them) but it's their land and I got no proof.
I just hope it wasn't the buck I've been working so hard to find.

One thing... you asked why do people hunt like this? They don't, they like killing. They have no interest in the application of scouting or skill. Nothing they do has anything in common with hunting, other than their choice of weapon and the animal they are after.
God shall never burden us with more than we are capable of carrying. Remember, a walk in the park for some, may be a seemingly insurmountable task. No one can wear another's shoes. The reward is not to be found in this life, but the next. Amen.
