I use the little goose myslef but you can't go wrong with a scott release. I prefer the buckle strap as opposed to the velcro type.
Especially if it was free

Make sure to watch the loop on your bow for signs of fraying. If it starts to fray its your release. I've had 2 little mongoose releases that had to be filed down a bit.
