Any pro's or con's about them? I looked at one this past weekend, seems to be a fair to good deal on one. Other from normal wear/tear,, it ran good. Only problem is that it didn't want to idle well. Would be used for general use at hunting land, work around the house and riding the kids. thanks,,

If it's not idling well plan on rebuilding the carb.

My brothers got a 08 ranger crew. He's had quite a few problems outta his including an idleing problem.Already had to replace the belt twice and both boots on the back axles are busted now. This thing don't get abused at all.Its definately turned me against buying a polaris when I get ready to buy a sxs.

I've owned a Polaris 4-wheeler in the past. Very good machine but I agree with getting the EFI.

I have an 02 Sportsman 700 that has never had many problems, you can tear a boot on any of them if you ride it in the woods through limbs and branches, mine is the carb version, I shut off the gas and let it run dry before I haul it or put it away for a while, always run stabil or startron in it and it seems to work pretty well.

I've always had hondas. A buddy of mine had a polaris 500 and had problems with he belts slipping. I like all of them I've driven just don't know if i would ever spend the money on a belt driven anything..

I'm one bad ass little person and a special kind of stupid.....

I bought a spare belt when mine was 3 years old because I'd heard so much about them slipping, it's still hanging in the garage. They hold up pretty well if you use the low range for going slow......

My buddy bought one to use around his farm , its a beast, plan on pulling a cultipacker with it, it weighs more than a wheeler will pull without melting it down, anxious to see how the belts hold up to nonstop pulling

Give me bout 15 more minutes, I was dreamin about beavers..........
