Hey guys, I know the rut is about to start: This is my first year hunting down here (accustomed to Northern California and Colorado deer) and it didn't take me long to learn that things are a little different. Like trying to do a gentle or play rattle to get some bucks attention and they ran off scared. So what works for you once the rut starts. scent, rattle, grunt, bleat, etc? I usually use a combination of a rattle bag, Dow Bleat, and Grunt. After my rattle experience, I'm not sure what to pick up now.
