How so you all go about sitting up you cameras? i usually just put them put over bait or on a trail and a few feet above the ground.

The higher the better where i hunt. maybe 10-12 feet angling down. Also placing them almost on the ground angling up. The deer seem to pick mine out if i place it balls high. IMO I get more pics without the deer noticing the camera this way.
Other things being equal, it is the man who shoots with his heart in his bow that hits the mark.

Mineral sites early summer, bait late summer, trails early fall, scrapes and rubs late fall/early winter until the season ends. Place mine about chest high, 20 second video mode on trails, rubs, and scrapes with 1 second lockout. Facing northwest to northeast if at all possible, or directly south.
