Bout 8:15 this morning, I decided to slip out my fig newton bar and have a little bite. Well wouldn't you know it, but as I am halfway done I look behind me and see a big ol' slick head sneaking off. I quickly downed the rest of my snack, hit my primos can one time, and just like clock work she turned and came right to me.  I bleated her to a stop at 35yds, deep breath, THWACK! Double lung complete pass threw. First deer with my new Hoyt Turbo Hawk and first one i've shot with the new G5 Tekan. I was very impressed with both!! She went 45yds and crashed. Just as I settled down, I looked and had a 4pt and a cowhorn come by and feed by me at 20yds.
