Just depends. I've done spot and stalk hunts for pigs in shorts, tshirt and crocs. Most of the time just pants and a shirt usually its a camo of some sort. I Always carry my binos! As far as a rifle goes its usually one of my 243's

Rifle or shotgun - depends on how close you can get. Hog Grunter - A must Binos Camo - depending on the amount of cover - I will even use face paint. Camo pants and camo long sleeve shirt if you can stand it. Snake boots when it gets warm.
You can beat their eyes and ears. But, you can't beat their nose. You must know the wind direction at all times.
I like to carry a redneck shooting stick like the ones they use in Africa. Just two sticks tied together that you can use to get a good solid rest. If there are sows and little pigs in the group, you must drop the sows hard. Then you can call the little pigs up for additional shots.

270 and some flip flops. Elkhunter is spot on about their noses & the wind. I have walked up close enough to kick them when the wind is in my favor and they had their faces in the ground rooting. If they are down wind form you then you MIGHT be able to get close enough to make 100-150 yard shot.
