So sad man. Seems to have been a sad weekend in Alabama. A 24yr old young man was killed at a Baileyton dragstrip Friday night and a family that goes to our church lost their 24yr old son yesterday. Prayers for all the familes.

I'm sorry for the loss Danny. May the Good Lord bless and comfort all of you. Sounds like there will be lots of good memories to help as time slowly eases the pain of your loss. Justin may have expressed the same feelings Paul had if he had been given the opportunity: .. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. 23 For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. 24 Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. You are in my prayers. Eddie Eddie, this passage is great. He was the HAPPIEST young man that I have ever known and TOTALLY selfless! He gained great pleasure in helping others. He has gained his reward, but left a huge, empty hole in the hearts of the ones who loved him. I am torn back and forth between memories of his silly antics, or our awesome time spent outdoors, and the grief that has me so sad and missing him so badly.
