No educational factor regarding hunting at all. Agreed. I don't watch them anymore.

None. The question is which is your favorite infomercial with some "hunting" scenes throw in for distraction from the ad nauseum sales pitch!! No educational factor regarding hunting at all. pretty sure I don't watch shows for any educational value at all. Just for recreational value. Shockey has a good show. I hate talking heads, goth girlfriend talking heads especially. Actually I dislike 90% of the shows out there.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Tracks Across Africa and Dark and Dangerous. Both are hosted by Ivan Carter who is a terrific hunter and host.

Not even a close second to Razor Dobbs! LOL...worst show is a tie between Razor Dumb Arse and the Busby clan. Both are a disgrace to outdoorsman. As for educational value, that would be nice but I find more entertainment out of a decent hunting show than 99% of the trash on other channels. At least I'm watching something that isn't going to rot my mind....that being said, I have to disagree that there is no educational value. I've learned a lot from Jim Shockey's the Professionals, not so much about how to kill a deer but about the world and game I'll likely never get to see in the wild. There are a few others. Heartland Bow Hunter is a quality show with guys that do all the scouting and stand set ups on their on. I'll pick up ideas from that show as well as a few others from time to time. NWTF, Outdoor Advantage, QDMA's show (49er's favorite) are a few others. Not saying that as a whole they haven't given a lot of hunters a false sense of what is realistic, but you could also blame that on hunter ignorance...

LOL, I hear ya. If I watch a hunting show I want to know why they have chosen that particular spot, where they expect the game to come from and why. Unfortunately, all you get is the guides placed these stands back in July and that's where we are going today, in other words, I don't know why I am sitting here. If I am watching something for recreational purposes the kids won't be around!

None. The question is which is your favorite infomercial with some "hunting" scenes throw in for distraction from the ad nauseum sales pitch!! No educational factor regarding hunting at all. When you watch a ballgame on TV, its not for the some purpose of learning a new play. We watch it for the entertainment purpose. With that being said, to most people hunting shows are watched for the same reason.

With that being said, to most people hunting shows are watched for the same reason. Those are big generalities, which might be the reason the hunting shows are so pathetic. I by the way don't sit passively and let a ballgame come to me, I try to stay ahead of the other teams tactics just like hunting, instead of being mindlessly entertained. Guess that is why I don't watch much television.

That man is a fool for sure! he'd fit in just fine around here!!

I can't find where the new shows for Endless Season is coming on. Did they take it off the air? I hope not. I like to watch the shows that are filmed in Alabama.

I change the channel when they call deer antlers, horns. If you are making your living in that industry, you should know the correct terminology.
