most every bow shop carries something that is highly adjustable. just go by there and get set up. I would look at a ready to shoot cheaper model. they are all deer killers. don't feel like you should have to pull back 60-70lbs to kill a deer many people are doing it with far less. just find something that you can shoot and have fun with it. good luck.

I'd suggest a new pse brute x. the adjustability of the limbs is what sold me on it. not to mention its quiet and fast/capable of enough KE for anything in north America. its a tad heavy on the fully rigged side of things compared to many , but I believe it helps with the no hand shock from my perspective. its a budget bow with a user friendly interface kind of way. I'm not totally new to the archery but just now got back into it hard and heavy after 6 years so I knew I didn't want to spend a fortune on a bow since I am just getting back into it and so much has changed with all your new options now days. get something that's comfortable to your liking and practice, practice. I forgot how relaxing archery was for stress management. back to the bow issue, the limbs is what sold me on the brute x(50-70lb adjustable). its set at 60lb right now and with a 389 grain arrow its still quick enough at 30yards I cant see the arrow until after its hit the bag, and still quiet.compared to my old nova night and day difference.

I shot the method and I all can say is heavy and vibration. Its very very quiet but the rattled my hand. felt much heavier than my insanity but it could have been the grip.
