Just my luck. I'll be stuck up in Charlotte, NC for a week in December. What are some places to be sure to eat at as well as things to do to pass the time at night?

Used to be a good seafood place downtown. I think it was called The Fishermans Wharf. Been years ago.

Worse places to be stuck. If I remember there is an awesome burger place called Big Daddy or Big Papa or something like that.

Lexington BBQ, not in Charlotte, but worth the drive. There are some great local dives if your anywhere Myers Park let me know and I'll send them to you. Charlotte's not a bad place at all to get stuck for a week or two. My sister and her family live there and I stay with them every now and then and we always have fun. http://www.lexbbq.com/map-directions/

If you go to Bass Pro in Concord, you might as well stop at Sonny's BBQ. It use to be at the same location IIRC. That's as good eating as I need.
