Already have a few scrapes showing up on our land in blount county. We don't usually see any this early. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing any yet.

I found numerous active scrapes last weekend in NW GA, which is really early for us.

I had two bucks sparring pretty good in winston county yesterday. I could hear them before I could see them. Last week I heard one grunt probably 15 times and o thought it was odd but I never saw it. I am confident it was the same deer I saw yesterday. He had a rack and was pushing a young buck around.

Yep, when they shed velvet, they start feeling the tingle and will scrape this early.
Kinda like the line in the Alan Jackson song " I was willin' but she wasn't ready". wink

We have been seeing them for 3 weeks in Fayette Co. Usually don't start seeing them until the 1st or 2nd week in November.

Havent seen any scrapes but saw first good size rub in Madison county AL. last weekend. Also noticed a behaviour change in does so I assume the bucks are harrasing them a little.
Havent seen the first rub or scrape in Southern Giles county TN.

I have been seeing quite a few scrapes for the last two weeks. They are just getting ready to get ready!
