I have been seeing the smaller bucks chasing like the crazy but the racked bucks aren't even looking at them yet. Still seeing the racked bucks in groups too!

Haven't seen a rack buck since October, but I did see 16 does over the weekend. All were in greenfields and were not chased or bothered by any bucks, nor were they acting 'rutty'.

Buddy killed a nice 9 pt. near Whitfield yesterday and said young bucks were running does. Kinda early for our place, but once into January you never know.

They were running does hard last weekend in south Sumter County. Passed up 5 different 2.5 year old's, all chasing, waiting for big boy. Saw him Sunday afternoon but couldnt get a shot.

I hunted everyday last week.Seen probally 12 to 15 small rack bucks.Woods are tore up.Seen 2 8pts together.Leaving out in the morning for 3 days.Maybe bigguns are gonna move.Whitfield area.

Finding scrapes as big as car hoods and rubs on trees as big as your leg.Seen smaller bucks but nothing big yet.Also hunting south Sumter.

I hunted hard this past week and saw a total of 31 different bucks. They are on the move, walking like zombies all day. You just gotta get in a good spot and sit!
