It sure is cold this morning. more wind than I had hoped for. Oh well, I will be here til 11 maybe 12. I will check back in if I get some action.

Hunting the edge of a cut-over drops off down in a holler got a few white oaks beside me with the ground covered in acorns. 27 here pressure is 30.60

I guess I'm jealous. I get to hunt a good bit but good grief if seems like everyday I look at the lftt and ur hunting.

I work swing shift in Decatur 15 days a month and use alot of vacation .My marriage has been barely holding on for 8 years during hunting season. The rest of the year it is fine. I only bow hunt and I bounce around hunting public land. Started bow hunting at 9 years old and have stuck with it. My wife tells me I need to get my priorities straight, but she knew I done this before we married. I worked at wolverine tube 3rd shift for 8 years and hunted 6 to 7 days a week every afternoon with my first marriage , slacked up a lot since then and if you have notice I don't hunt on weekends maybe a Sunday afternoon. I have only climbed 3 times that I did not do a live from the tree. I can't help it this is my drug! And yes I know Jody could come to my house any day and I would never know it.

I woke up at 3:45 am and the wind was howling. I made an executive decision to go back to bed.

I seen 4 today..had a buck at 30 yrds in the cut-over as I was getting down from the tree..wouldnt of matter still wouldnt have slung an arrow at him just a basket 7

Didn't see a thing this morning. Set up along an old logging road between an old cutover and some tall pines right on a small food plot. Let's hope one gets hungry this evening.
