Just wondering if anybody has used any of the masterbuilt electric smokers and how well do they work? Basspro has one on thier Black Friday sale I'm looking at regular 329 on sale for 199

Wife got me one last year..I like mine it was only like 149.99 cause it didn't come with stand..

I've had one for several years and like it. You can control the temp perfectly. I've done countless ribs/butts/birds on it with great success. It doesn't put out a ton of smoke, but it is well sealed so the meat still gets a good smoke ring and flavor. I'd recommend it to anyone in the market.

I have had 2. First one was great, second would not smoke worth a crap. Also, the version I had did not have a replaceable heating element. Maybe that one does.

I have had mine for 5 years. As Moose24 noted the heating element cannot be replaced on some of them. The wire connection on my element broke. Lucklily I was able to make some modifications and repair it.
