Does anybody have this going on? I have hunted six days straight mornings, midday, and afternoon hunts and have not seen a single deer. Think they may have gone nocturnal

Nocturnal would be a good guess. I'm dealing with it, but the deer are pretty much done chasing also. We still see one or two, but it has slowed big time, which is the norm for this time of year.

They will go nocturnal if they've been heavily pressured.

They are just now starting to show pre-rut activity this week up here in N.AL. A lot more movement the past three or four days. Should be good over the next couple weeks. Before this week, the deer were just non-existent it seemed.

There's your answer. If it's in Union Grove, you may be the only one you know of that's hunting it, but I'm betting you you aren't the only one that actually is.

I'm not far from you, there just aren't many deer to begin with, and this yr their patterns have been very unusual. A lot more people hunt out there than you may think.

They haven't been moving in Grove Hill either. Wed-Sun and I saw one deer sunday morning. Don't think TC has seen a deer since gun season opened.

December lull, the big reason for folks pushing to extend the season into February.

I'm in a club in skyline too last yr we killed 30 deer so far there has only been 8 or so killed so I'm thinking the deer movement may be slow state wide.

I've seen bucks following does recently. Don't think its rutting behavior yet, but interest is picking up.

I'm in south Shelby county and we're experiencing the same thing, none of our does are visiting food plots during daylight. Hopefully it's just a lull before the rut, shot a buck on Saturday that was starting to rut.
