The lack of acorns this year seems to have really messed things up. The folks down in the bottoms around houses seem to be killing a few bucks. I hunted a big patch of honeysuckle Friday that had lots of sign but you couldn't see 50 yds due to fog. I checked book in Little coon three bucks checked out all year.

One of those recorded wasnt a buck. We were in the camp ground packing up when two guys drove by and wrote something down. One put down an 8 pt, but if it was non of the points were visible above the hairline.

Hunted Paint Rock Valley Saturday and Sunday. Did not see a deer. Saw a small 8 point running a doe January 5th, right at dark. Have yet to see a deer on Jacobs Mountain, since its been public land.
