It's scheduled for an open gate weekend Feb 22-23 where you can drive in, whereas rest of the time you have to park at gate and long walk in. Shotgun w/slugs or muzzleloader only. derekb spike Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 30 Elberta Al	Dburgett is my brother yes there is hog sign but they will be hard to get very few we've hunted it for ducks while they were in season and thats when we found sign But when we hunt for deer we have heard them in the brush. there are some deer tho my buddy found a spike caught in the dog pen and he shot a few does talked to someone watching the trails he had killed 4+ this year then heard from other people they got some nice bucks on camera but for some reason i don't like hunting all the sand.
