My best is 134 5/8 gross. He had 15 scoreable points (10 pt w/5 kickers), but the longest tine was just a tad over 6" long. If he would have decent tine length he would have been a good one. And if frogs had wings ....

I've killed one main frame 8 that scored 141" and change and seen 2 or 3 more alive in Al. While working in West Virginia and Ohio for 6 months I saw at least 20 over 140". Maybe 5 of those over 150"

Ive got two - a 147" gross 9 pt (scored 144 as an 8) from the early 80's killed near Bermuda, AL and a 142" 11 pt from Burnt Corn. Two biggest bucks I have ever seen while hunting. 140" is a DAMN big one down here.

One 150 3/8" 11pt and one 136" 8pt right main beam was broken off at G3. Killed several big ones, they just didn't score well.

Watch yourself. I AM from Jackson county after all and just happen to know a fair amount about your property now. I might mess around and help kill one of your 140's one day when you arent around. laugh

Don't have any, neighbors, roadhunters and nighthunters got them all.
Just work the time out with the other poachers, wouldn't want it to get too crowded.

Lol! Sadly, that is the WORST thing about having property that has crop fields or having crop fields close by. I'll NEVER understand somebody poaching a friggin deer from the road at night. Blows my mind....

None, YET, only been after them 4 yrs, killed 4 bucks. I think there are more 140+ class bucks around than most people think. In my neck of the woods, there is one or more, or one close to, 140"+ class bucks every square mile.
And some of those square miles very well could have more than one, and its been that way for umpteen years.

Its all about your habitat
