OK, I'll play on this one. Part 1, 15 points. Part 2, 1,2,3........ better get me one of those worms with a lota legs . A point is anything you can hang a ring on, right? LOL!...sounds like my dad....we debate that frequently. He has a deer he calls a 12pt, but I call it a 9 with stickers. I told him the only "sticker/kicker" that I count as an individual point would be split brow tines. My preference is if it's an individual point growing tradtionally/upwards from the main beam, then it's a "point". Drop tines are "drop tines", and sideways growing points or points growing from another "tine" are just stickers. So I call his deer a 9pt with stickers (it's 5x4 with 3 stickers on the 5 side). But shucks, ain't a hill I'd die on, we can call it what we like!

It all depends on who shot it. If you shoot it you can count all the stickers. If your buddy kills it, it is your responsibility to inform him that stickers don't count. EXACTLY!

16pt, 12pt, 11pt, 6-10pts, 4-9pts (may have forgotten about a few 9's) Now that I think about it... I've killed every multiple of points from a 12pt down to a 1pt
You're only as good as your worst shot-

Killed a 2 and a half year old with 14 on his head in a cutover several years ago made me sick when i got to him that deer would have easily been in the 160's a couple years later . I had a similar experience with a 12 point. If I had been thinking, I would have whistled or grunted to get him to turn so I could see the spread. As it was, he had his nose glued to a doe's rump, and all I could see was a forest of points. Turned out to be one I had previously let walk. It taught me a very valuable lesson in patience and self-control.
