I've never had ANY luck when it comes to killing a turkey that I roosted. I guess that I think about it all night and where I want to be at daylight. Always ends up with me being in the wrong spot. I'd rather wait on him to gobble in the morning and then decide where to sit. It's like the old saying, " think long, think wrong", I guess.

I don't like roosting birds...I usually end up trying to get too close to them the next morning...I'll just wait and see where he's at in the morning

I don't roost turkeys in the afternoon anymore. I find it unproductive.
