Yep, Preacher, you got the bad ju-ju for sure. A limb launch is in order. Dang, it sure makes a lot of racket when a 22 lb gobbler falls out of the top of a big longleaf. She says I act weird during turkey season anyway, so she just wrote it off to that. But when I brought home a box of bright red hair dye and suggested she would look great as a redhead, she went ballistic on me. I decided it was gonna have to be the limb launch. Actually, for once one flew down and came right to me. Got to watch him breed a hen as his final act. He coulda walked off, but went right back to drumming and went to look for that other hen. Greed will get you every time. Good hunting to all, and thanks for all the suggestions on breaking the jinx.
