How many times can a member hunt on this club during the deer season? Hunt all he wants during the weekend, and we know people have vacations! We don't accept people that hunt during the week while everyone is working! A day here or day there during the week is ok! That's our choice cause you know why........ It's my land! That's why Why are you getting short with me? I asked you an honest question.

It's only your business if that post was a concern of yours! Were you looking for a club? No so therefor it was none of your business! Thanks for understanding! I will be a monkeys uncle you are a mind reader now. As a matter of fact I am looking for a club or land to lease again. And you seem to forget this is a PUBLIC forum it is everyone's Business its not controlled by your president yet.

Why would anyone publicly fuss and bicker, then tell people that it's none of their business or their concern. I don't have a dog in the fight. However, the fight is conducted in public and therefore open to the public's opinion. Isn't there some kinda unspoken forum rules about this. PM's seem to be the way to handle things so we all don't watch a public disagreement and then get told to mind our own business. I hope each of y'all get things worked out and clubs get filled and memberships attained.

I'll start by saying that I don't usually chime in much on any topic unless I can be helpful to someone, however this is my club that's being talked about and I feel I should support Greg for the wonderful job he does in taking care of the place and the time and effort he puts into making sure it stays a great place and to insure that it's smoothly run on a day to day basis and year after year. This 2600 acres is a well managed piece of property that produces trophy deer every year, partly because where it's located and how it's setup, but also because the management practices that the property undergoes and each individual that are willing to play their intricate part in keeping this place maintained and well managed. Some members here play larger roles and others smaller roles however each role is vitally important in keeping this a great place. The only reason we've had a turnover is because a few people couldn't follow the rules therefore after several warnings were given they continued to break rules and ultimately had to be kicked out,. Now up to speed on the current issues I believe it was very wise to have our "options" in who we as club decided would be a best fit to get our club back on track to where it needs to be as far as being filled with the best suited members as possible, if you were not picked, there shouldn't be any hard feelings, as for your personal decisions to pull campers home and terminate memberships and pull your stands from elsewhere, well it sounds to me you had planned on doing that anyways because you're looking for another club, sorry just stating a fact, so there shouldn't be a problem in that area!! As far as money goes it goes into a club bank account and every dollar is accounted for the lease, power, water most important paid then the planting of spring/summer plots as well as fall/winter plots and all the supplemental feeding throughout the year and mineral stations that we just put in three weeks ago. And any additional money that's leftover after all this is said and done you guessed it, it's still in the account and will ultimately be rolled into the club making it only better!! As for anyone sitting on the sideline throwing darts at this club or it's members just stop because this site wasn't designed for that, be mature about matters and be helpful to others because you never know when you'll need the help in return!! Hope all has a great day and great spring turkey season!! X2

Dang its filled up I would have been the perfect member to. I only get to hunt 1 day a week if that and I only shoot 3-4 year olds or older. But I do have like 20 stands so I would have been out also. Guess I'll keep looking.

Its not just this one. The majority of threads he has ever been involved with have turned into train wrecks. Seems he is always on here in search of potential members though. Wonder why???

I don't blame the guy for being selective in picking members for his club. I wouldn't want someone in my club that has 25 lockons and openly plans to hunt 7 days a week, (which would not happen anyway, since we limit the number of days you are allowed to hunt per week to 4 days).
With that said, I have almost 20 lockons myself. I even have three on one plot, so I have options based on wind direction. So basing your decision on the number of lockons someone has is ridiculous, but basing it on the fact that he has been kicked out of two other clubs is all I would need to hear anyway. We probably have over 60 stands on our club (1250 acres), that include ladders, shooting houses, permanent stands and lockons. It doesn't mean we over pressure the deer, it means we hunt smart and have options.
As for the guy with two kids. I would hope you have rules in place that only allow them occupy 2 stands. If not you should. There is nothing wrong with having your kids hunt with you, we encourage that with all our members.
We fill our openings based on referral only. We have a waiting list of referrals now but we have only had to add one member in the last three years, because that member relocated to another state.
Glad to hear you filled your openings.

If any one could pull and post the old G2 threads he was involved in he would really get exposed for what he is. Do a google search for his real name as well as the club name and you find that he is looking for members year round. It isn't hard to see why.

Thanks and enjoy the debate on who I should let in my club! I'm out I don't think I have ever seen someone quit there club publicly on a forum. I wonder who will take over the dick-tater, i mean president role?

Do a google search for his real name as well as the club name and you find that he is looking for members year round. It isn't hard to see why. I only spent about two minutes on it, but did a quick Google search and this is the first thing I ran across. This was on a hunting club listing website. "In case you have not noticed...the Lucky Buck hunting Club website has been removed. This was caused by unethical practices on their members part. They were caught showing fake trail cam photos of their deer, mis-representing all aspects of their club.BEWARE!!...you have been notified that...This is not a club that you need to join. See other message boards to see what else people are talkin` about their club."
