Kind of a Ford Chevy type of question, I drive a Toyota and shoot a Benelli Vinci and love it. But you will get many diffrent opinions and coming from this bunch theyll all be valid I'm sure.

A lot of people like the Benelli SBE II that use it for both of those types of hunting. I just use my Benelli pump Nova for both. That way I never have to worry about a jam!

I have the first model Nova Benelli made. Other than the forearm rattling around if you don't hold it right I love it. I understand they have fixed that issue on later models of the Nova. Its a great gun for a reasonable price and it shoots 3.5in shells.

My dang job gets in the way of my turkey hunting. If I could only hit the lotto I'd be good to go.

A pump will be alot easier to take apart and clean. Let's face it...your gun is gonna get wet duck hunting. That's why I bought the waterfowl version in an 870.

I have a Beretta 390 that just sits in the safe that I am considering having dipped and using it? But it doesn't shoot 3.5's

If I was gonna use it for ducks and turkeys, I would own me one of those new Browning A-5's!! I sure hope they start making it in a 20 gauge.

Really depends on your pocketbook. Benelli's, Brownings, and Berettas all gonna require you to dig deep. Take a look at some of the 3" models if you can't afford the 3.5's.

Stony,
You and me both. I'll have one if they do.

My stoeger m-2000 has been doing some nice work on turkeys and ducks since I got it and you won't break the pocketbook with a stoeger. I may get a stoeger m 3000 because my 2000 is black and I kinda want a camo gun. They have the m 3500 which is a 3.5" gun but I see absolutely no reason to shoot 3.5" shells anymore.

Love my Benelli SBE 2 for ducks. After toting that Win 1300 around for 20+ years with a 22 inch barrel, that SBE with 26 inch barrel (plus extended choke tube) felt like I was carrying a javelin around in the woods. Would hang on vines more, ect. I did kill several birds with it though. I just like a shorter gun when turkey hunting so I've gone back to the 1300 the past 2 years.
