Blake Wilson in Union Grove, might be a bit of a drive for you, but his work is second to none. All he does is birds.

Rhett Kelly in Titus has mounted 4 turkeys for me in addition to about 7 ducks. He's awesome.

you need to eyeball some birds from ANY taxidermist doing turkeys.....

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Yea Rhett did a bird for me last year, he mounts turkeys from all over the country and South America to Mexico. Does some great work, and has been since before I was born

Try wildlife creations in childersburg. This guy charges a little less because he does all his own work, freeze dries his own heads, tans his own skins, he also does the same thing for most of the other taxidermists in the area and they have to pay him to do it so you pay them more. He is doing my turkey and said however I want it it will not cost more than 600

Yeah cmon. Daniel White

A turkey is a turkey so anyone local who turns out a nice eastern can handle your ossie. That said, take freds advice and go view their work for yourself. What looks "alive" and good to some could be borderline garbage in reality. I like Shane Smith when it comes to feathers, although he sets a pretty low take in limit on turkeys.

Toby's Taxidermy in Centreville is good when it comes to turkey mounts. Did mine 10 years ago and it still looks great.

WMD took his son's triple breaded stud he killed on Rucker last week....

Hazel Creek Taxidermy. Cally Morris. A local taxidermist shipped my bird to him. Expensive but worth it. I have three mounted by him. He is in Missouri
