At our place in Monroe co. we have 2 pieces of property that was burned at the end of last week. One is 95 ac and the other is 80 ac. We will be up there to hunt fri,sat and sun. Should I take a chance and try these areas or stay around camp where we heard and saw numerous birds last week. What would y'all do?

I wouldn't leave where I know birds are, but that's just my opinion and you know wat they say about options... The burns would prolly be good too but I'd make it my second option, best of luck

Hunt the birds, if they are not near the last place you heard them go to the burn next.

Get to the burns mid morning at the latest... They love scratching for those crispy critters grilled to their liking... Not saying they will not roost in them, but usually they love to stay in them after they fly down and take care of business... Good Luck... Burns are almost like baiting... But thankfully they are legal
