The dates are correct. These pictures are from last summer. How old do you think the buck on the left is? I realize these may not be the best pics for ageing.

Early season & he looks about 3.So I'll guess he's probably close to 4

Part 2 of the question:
Im 99% sure this is him this summer. ( look at his right ear notch on bottom photo of original post) What happened? Body still looks basically the same. There are no noticeable injurys on him.

same deer, looks four, might be five. No older than five.

I'd say he's 5 now & had some growth damage or injury.

I would be interested to see another picture from the right side of him if you get another one. In the middle picture of part 2, right behind the other deer behind his shoulder there seems to be what could be a scar or some damage. Im not saying it is it just looks like it to me. I wish there was another picture from that side. That right front shoulder just looks skinny and it could just be because of the feeder.

He's old enough and has a a rack to match. A trophy either way. Who knows what happened to him.

btw, everyone take note of the feeder: High enough roof with plenty of headroom. A large yet shallow trough so as to not cause the deer to bury his eyes.
