I haven't been able to get out there in a few weeks so I'm wondering which will be dropping and more attractive to the deer?

I didn't know either of those stands existed last season....cleared around them a bit to let sun help the yields.

Pawpaws are on the outside of thick privet alongside a trail following a mostly dry creek bed. Persimmons are on outside of a strip of thick brush fingering out from the woods a bit in a large unplanted but bush hogged field.

Wind direction is always a crapshoot, these deer come in from different directions every time....I never seem to get a pattern. So frustrating becaus it's so thick that they bed everywhere. I walk right past a doe bedding down all the time, I can't take her though....I like looking for her 15 ft right off the intersection of 3 trails...I call her "split trail" whistle It's a story for another day.

Anyway, I haven't posted in a long time...appreciate the smartazzery for the long post and any recommendations that follow.

I'd stick with the persimmons. They've always been a favorite of mine.
