I do not need anything with all the bells and whistles, which is good because I'm on a budget. I'm simply wanting something that will do the basics and will hopefully function properly and have pics once checked. I realize there are always going to be a few duds out there, perhaps more so with the entry-level models. What can you recommend from less than $100?

I was just about to ask about the software. A quick look on Amazon shows a great price, but a lot of negative reviews with the focus being on the included software. I'm somewhat computer savvy so I'll certainly keep this one in mind. Thanks for the suggestion and links!

Night_Stalker 4 point Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 323 Heart of Dixie	The old saying of: "Buying cheap merchandise to save money is, like stopping a clock to save time" From years of dealing with price cheap equipment only resulted in a lot of head aches, missed pics, no pic, error issues, dead cameras etc. I realize the budget plays a major role in your decision here and agree completely. Crummy camera's that are not reliable is like throwing that budgeted $$$ right in the trash can. I go with the experience with trail camera's as their priced that cheap for a reason. Good luck with the ones you chose and post those images for us to see also. 4 - Reconyx SC950's 1 - Reconyx XR6 Ultra Fire 4 - Homebrew Units Don't waste $$ on those midrange priced cameras
