Man I'm jealous!!! My Boykins are 1 1/2 yr old now. Boykin puppies are awesome. Good luck with your pups. They are awesome little dogs that will absolutely steal your heart.

Considering Boykin pretty hard right now ... How are they at tracking wounded deer? I'm willing to spend a good deal of time training a dog

Considering Boykin pretty hard right now ... How are they at tracking wounded deer? I'm willing to spend a good deal of time training a dog One of my boykins blood trailed a deer for a friend this season. She was never trained to do it. It was unreal. I put her on the blood and she pulled me to the deer.

Considering Boykin pretty hard right now ... How are they at tracking wounded deer? I'm willing to spend a good deal of time training a dog They are great at blood trailing. Very little training is required. Just be prepared for the massive amount of shedding they do.
