At my camp you have to go outside to make/answer a call or even get the weather on an app. Building is all covered with aluminum siding and roof. We could pool our funds to buy a signal booster if it worked. We are all on Verizon because that is the only service available there. Anyone have good or bad experiences or suggestions with boosters? Thanks.

I've got one in the house, makes all the difference in the world.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

We've installed several Wilson systems at RSA and they work great. I have 8 more on order now.
Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

Wiley which Wilson system would you recommend? I Googled up several. I'd assume we need an external antenna....

You will need an external antenna for best results. It's also good to know the direction to the nearest/strongest cell tower.
The most economical that we've installed out here are the SureCall SC-DualH/O-72-YD-Kit and it's kinda pricey at $400+ for the consumer. The others we installed were in the $3000 range for wide area coverage (60,000+ sq ft) inside metal buildings with hardwall offices and cubes.
There are probably comparable home setups for about half that by other manufacturers but Wilson is all we use.

Wiley I have no service in my house but 1-2 bars outside and if I travel up the road 3-400 yard it jumps to 4-5 bars. None of it is 3 or 4G. Would one of the booster help? Right now we have to go stand in the yard to make a call and it is a pain in the rear. Im with C-Spire if that matters.

I have a Wilson booster in the truck and at the farm.
Only does 3G at the farm.
Call Wilson, they have extremely good customer service, and are happy to help you.
You can always order later once you find out what you need.

Right now we have to go stand in the yard to make a call and it is a pain in the rear. Im with C-Spire if that matters. Yes it would help you. The system has an outdoor antenna, an amp (booster) and an indoor antenna all connected by proprietary coax. 1-2 bars outside should become at least 4 bars indoors
