Try finding your mangled wiener dog on the side of the road, still pass the 30 foot bloody drag mark on the pavement every day. It's been 3 weeks now, when the hell is the rain gonna wash that chit off lol. Good luck.

I had a cat named Sydni many moons ago. The cat came up as a stray & I took her in. About that same time I was diagnosed with a heart condition that took some time to get under control. Every time I would have an episode with my heart, I'd have to lie down & that cat would show up every time & hop up in my lap. I'd pet her until my heart rate came back down to normal & then off she'd go. I've had some dang good dogs in my lifetime but that cat was something special too. She got me through some crappy days. So I sympathize with your loss. The best cure for your sadness is a new pet to love.

I think most people's point is, it is not a kid and comparing it to one is wrong. No matter how much you love your pet, it is an animal and not a child. It is disrespectful to all the people who have lost children, the real human kind, to make the comparison.

Hell my 6yr old has put two out of their misery this year with his pistol grip crossbow. Poor starving bastages were tearing everyone's trash up due to starvation. We did our part

Seems like I remember a lot more "compassion" in the "should I shoot the dogs running wild on my lease?" threads...

Sitting here reading all of this many things are going through my head.

First: If those that are mocking the poster is doing such because of his wording of a 4 legged kid. I get that you do not feel that a animal is the same worth of a child. Common sense would probably tell you deep down neither does he. I am sure if he had to choose between a child and an animal he would choose the child. That aside your feelings of such do not add one thing to this situation.

Second: Those that are mocking him because he loved his cat and it died just because you do not like cats. Seriously, one it is someone that is hurt over a loss, a member on this forum that is supposed to be filled with good Christian men. Why not take the high road and offer condolences and keep your damn opinion of cats to your self. Or at least make a new post with your cat hating rhetoric.

Lastly, if you want to call him a queer for going on some guy or a shirt he wears and give people a hard time fine. This however just has me baffled why you all are acting this way. I could give a shucks about a cat, last one I had I fed to my rotties for pissing on my bed but damn this is just ridiculous.

I would say you all are just a bunch of damn douchebags but I am mainly just disappointed in you all.

I just don't get it. Is this some damn weird joke I am not getting? SMDH

No, you have it right. There are some schit-eating sonofabitches on here that would be crying and posting that damn rainbow bridge poem if it was a dog.
