I just recieved a sad bit of information for myself. Vortex broadheads have gone out of business. I have confirmed this through multiple sources. These heads had been around for the better part of 30 years. This was my brother's, my daddy's, as well as my broadhead of choice and has been for about the past 20 years(i have shot them for bout 11 yrs) with the three of us combined we have killed more than i will ever be able to count with only three deer not found in the last 15 years and even then it was human error, not equipment failure. The vortex was devestating head with its 2 in+ cut, sometimes lacking an exit wound, but it really never mattered to me they never made it 50 yrds most of the te either way. They worked well for me and ill miss them. P.S. If someone has information stating that im wrong and i have been misinformed and these heads are still being made, feel free to make me look like an idiot, id appreciate it.:)

Ditto all you said. I was turned onto these heads several years back and have yet to lose a deer with them. I have spent the last year or so trying to find some leftovers in shops here and there to no avail. Needless to say, I've been careful on choosing shooters the last couple of seasons. I wish I could find someone that's picked up the patent or whatever and started making these guys again. I've been trying to find a close replacement. Please share if you have any info on new manufacturing, leftovers, etc. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

It was a sad day last year when I found out from my "supplier" they had gone out of business. I even called the company and emailed them to confirm. No response. I have been shooting the 100 gn 2 1/2 in cut since about 1993. To me they were the best broadheads ever...as long as you have enough KE to push the beast. I have about 9 that are open and one unopened pack that I hope last me a long long time. Great broadheads for sure.

Coupe buddies been crying a river they are no more. One said he could find them on eBay but were 80 a pack. Crazy. If anyone finds anything please post.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

There are 4 packs listed on eBay now. They are 125 gr 2" cut.
