I saw 2 does at 10:40 and had to leave at noon. Officially broke my record for coldest temp I've ever hunted in at a whopping 7 degrees. AMAZING how much colder 7 feels than 17! Glad I don't live way up north!

I hunt South Dale and agree on a couple weeks tops. Tons of scrapes in the last week have been made but from cam pics they are all the small bucks and still traveling in groups on my place.

I can believe it, I've never seen deer when temperatures drop that low.

Saw 2 does and a 6 just before dark.

I figured some deer would take dirt naps today. I have a buddy that drove to Kentucky today and picked a car up. He saw 45+ deer in TN and KY from the interstate. My FIL saw the famous Marshall County piebald and another deer south of new hope.

This yote turned out to be the only thing I saw all day. Shot him with my TC Encore ML with a 250 grain shockwave bullet. Cool thing was I found a copper flake on the yote on the exit hole, but it wouldn't show up in the pic.

I ended up seeing 3 doe and a spike.

Killed at yote at 4:15, he came out of a bottom and Layed down on the side of a big pasture hillside, so while he was taking a nap I went on and gave him a permanent nap, then 20 slick heads strolled across from 430 till dark!!
