I shot 140gr Fusions out of mine and they performed great from 10ft out to 100 yds or so. I hunt woods and never had to shoot further but I would have had confidence in them at longer distances. 140 gr fusions for me, u can't beat em Exactly where are y'all finding these 140gr fusion bullets for a 270 Win???? http://www.shop.rmrbullets.com/277-150-G...lled-500-Ct.htm Math lesson for the day- 150gr is not the same as 140gr You've really let me down on this one Clark. Good try though
You're only as good as your worst shot-

Good try though Yep! I guess I need to slow down on the skim reading. The important part for me was "Fusion" rather than 140 grain.

Swink, the federal Fusion in 130 gr is a good factory load. Also, my personal choice, the Federal Premium in 130gr Nosler Partition.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I've always tried to use 130 grain bullets in my 270 but I think 140s would work too.
