Hey guys i'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these scopes in the 3-9x40 30mm and was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with one before. Also how do yall like the recticle. It seems like a good scope for the money and weight being 13oz.

Buddy of mine bought a 3x9x50 for $299 last week and i was very impressed with the clarity of it at dark. Not so sure bout the tiny reticle though.

I've owned one. As Trox said, the glass was superb. The reticle was ok but certainly different.

The reticle i believe is going to be the big concern for me. I think its gonna be hard to pick it up in the woods late in the evenings.

Im thinking the same thing bud..Its a really small reticle.Good price on a clear scope but i think at dusk or dawn its gonna be a guessing game at where you're aiming if big daddy steps out.Me personally I'd find a used VX or Varix II or III 3x9x50 for $250-$400.
