You can go right down the road and go fishing at guntersville. Ain't nothing in albertville but Mexicans  and Boaz don't... GREAT mexican food at El King Sol Pollo downtown. Some authentic dishes too.

you need to do as nighthunter suggested .Eat lunch or dinner at King pollo.I eat there atleast once a week for lunch.It may sound gross but the lingua[beef tongue] tacos are the bomb.It's like fillet mignon .Other than king pollo the only attractions we have is to just sit on the side of the road on 205 and watch the mexicans run over each other.There is a really nice tactical shop in Boaz on the left right past walgreens.Night fish off the pier across from D.Q use a dark jitter bug if you get the chance.If you want a good lunch or breakfast my wife runs the deli at Albertville foodland,They make everything homemade right there in the store and friday is catfish day.People drive from g,ville and boaz to eat the catfish.If you get the chance stop in and say hey.I run the meat dept.at the same store my name is Troy.

This place was great at one time.Boaz was an actual tourist destination.The mexicans moved in and pretty much killed everything.Lake guntersville and having relatives here is the only reason I would come to marshal county if I didnt live here.

The Tackle Trap is a really good fishing shop. The very best thing about it is Brian doesn't keep junk in there. If he has it in the shop it's quality stuff.

We've always enjoyed eating at the Catfish Cabin. Last time I ate there I would have been better off just getting a can of tuna at the grocery store. It may have changed now though. Best fish place that I've eaten at in the area is Top of the River where Val Monte used to be down on the lake. The Riverboat Special is outstanding. They got cold beer too.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
