This place is kinda like the guide on my TV. I scroll down and surf the channels and if something looks interesting, I'll click on it. Nobody's making me click on the channel. If it doesn't interest me, I keep on scrolling. Sometimes I'll watch a few minutes (i.e. read a few posts) and change the channel if I don't like the content. But I'm not gonna call up the president of WOW and tell him to take "Bad Girls of LA" off because the show doesn't appeal to my taste. Just like I'm not gonna come on here and tell someone not to post something because I don't want to read.
Hang in there buddy. IMO, a little faith and prayers mixed in with hunting ain't all bad.

I think you should take all opinions in a comment, rather it's religious or not, as something to learn about or something that you should be able to comment back and say that you don't agree. Nothing wrong with differences. At least that's what I learned in a Anthropology major.

the great thing about being human is free will... choice... rights... A man that loves to hunt talks about hunting all the time, fishing is fish talk, cars will be car talk, and A man that loves God is going to talk about God. The right of choice is becoming regulated by laws. with laws comes more and more laws to ensure everyones right has been governed. Is that something that any free American really wants? I can understand things/topics wearing anyone thin but more regulation is not needed. Comon courtesy should not have to be governed. You give and take because this is a great sight; everyone has an answer for someone and you next question just might be where are the best doughnuts located in Huntsville AL? So dont leave because you have a place to fill in this group.

In a way, I agree with rackdisaster and beadlescomb. Religion doesn't have to be brought up in many of the threads in which it's brought up. It only turns people against religion much the way a select few people on here feel like they have to shove their QDM views down everyone's throats whenever a member on here shoots a young buck. I'm in a club that only shoots bucks that are 4+ years old, but I'm happy for anyone that kills a legal deer they are proud of. When the peckerheads jump on them about killing a young deer or ask "why didn't you just shoot a doe?" it makes me wish everyone would shoot a spike. By the way, this does not mean that when every topic is turned to religion that I wish Satan would win. Tndeer went through a lot of this stuff years ago because that site grew quicker than this one. A religion forum would be a nightmare.
Also, it's not as easy as "just don't click on it". When you click on a thread titled "Look at my arrowhead collection" you really aren't expecting to read a debate about scientists and archaeologists trying to fool people into thinking the earth is millions of years old.
