I threatened to get into duck hunting a couple years ago. Even PM'd bamaeyedoc and a few others and got some helpful info but I never had the opportunity to actually go hunt. So now I'm thinking I just need to plan a trip and go. Maybe this far in advance of the season I can make it happen. So here's my question, Where can I find an outfitter who won't break the bank? (I have absolutely no idea how much a duck hunt costs) I'd be taking my 16yo son and probably looking for a two day hunt. At this point I'm flexible but I don't have a clue about where to go or who is a reputable outfitter.

What part of the State are you in? I've hunted leases in Arkansas a few times, and It was always great. It's not a good taste of how duck hunting in Bama is though. Alot tougher here.
