Question? Why are they having a fall classic and it's still summer until September the 23rd? it's always been during the first part of august. got to remember bass pro headquarters are in missouri. most everything is based on their location. fall classic gets you ready for the beginning of hunting season. this is the absolute best time to find ammo. from here on out, our selection goes downhill. corporate does everything it can to have a good selection of centerfire ammo so the rifle hunters can get prepared. the closer it gets to gun season, the worse the selection gets. it is horrible around Christmas. i buy during this time. i've had six years to watch and observe.
