The receivers were looking for the ball and Yeldon wasn't.

I agree with allhawk. If Coker was just throwing behind the line like Sims has for 2 weeks, his completion % would be much higher.

I agree, but Sims made those bounce passes last week in his first action. If they rotate again next week Coker will look better. They both have big flaws.

Coker was wanting to show his arm off early, I think. I read earlier that Sims only completed one pass last week that went 15 yards or more past the line of scrimmage. I can only think of 1 today and it was in the second half because Andre Ware wanted to make it clear that Coker had missed that pass earlier.

Also, it looked to me like Sims messed up on Yeldon's fumble. TJ had no idea he was getting the ball and Fowler thought he was getting a pass. Sims hasn't been back out since that. In the second half Coker has been working with the second and third string line, backs, and receivers.

I got sick of listening to him trash talk Coker throughout the game. I finally just turned the mute on.

OMG Rebel. That's how your supposed to block on the outside. No chance for a hold. By diving at a mans knees? I knew you were a trombone player in the band.

I think Sims played well and you can tell he is comfortable with the offense. Coker looked like he was lost most of the time. I am not sure how this is going to end up but if Sims can not make the big plays it is going to cause lots of problems. If he does then Alabama will be fine and have a pretty good team. If Coker can learn the offense and get comfortable then I think he can take the spot and do extremely well.

I never understood why people were just giving Coker the starting job before the season when he could not win it at the college he turned down Alabama for the first time for.........
