I've read where ballisticaly the 28 is the best gauge. If shooting 3/4 ounce the 28 doesn't string shot as bad. Which to my understanding means you get a fuller pattern with no gaps or holes in the pattern. Any of you 28 shooters agree? It also would make sense to buy a reloader for the 28 and save $$$ in the long run.

GO NOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And for all the reasons listed above.

Shot string was an explanation I heard, but could not tell you for certain....it just shoots great with very little recoil and kills them just as dead as a 20 or 12.
I love my CZ 410 Side by Side but not in the same league as the .28.

Take your kids hunting instead of hunting your kids.

Worrying about the cost of shells? Really? Is it going to break you to pay a couple of extra bucks a box? That is like buying a $1,000 rifle and putting a $100 scope on it because you didn't want to spend the money on a good scope.

I love it when that happens . Cost of shells dont bother me from what ive seen 410 is higher than 28. Plus 28 are easy to find around hear.

My son wacked this crow today with his 28. It dropped like a rock.
