Leaving out on October the 16th and coming back on the 20th. Headed up on the Backside of Townsend, to set up horse camp. Gonna ride on the outskirts and edge of Cades Cove. Can't wait, got to get to riding my horse and get me and him both in shape.. We will ride form the camp over to Cades Cove. Gonna try to put in a over night trip on Saturday, it's a 36 mile trail, take your all you can with you including horse feed and stop half way at a cabin, stay the night and finish the ride the next morning. Didnt get to make it last year, but one of my buddy's that went took his mule, a Black Bear, busted out on them, spooked the mule, bucked him off, stomped him in the process, broke two ribs and got sure enough busted up. They was 12 miles from camp, he rode back to camp, drove back home, stayed in the hospital for 3 days.. Hope this trip is smoother.

Sounds like fun. I never got me another horse but I have my eye on a little grey 3 yo stud. Guy wants 650 and I figure another 150 to have him cut. I havent rode him but he is supposed to ride good. No, them suppose to never work out when they have balls..  You can find a Jam up horse kid safe right now for that price..

Daniel, you need anything why you are around this way, holler. I live about 20 miles from where you are going to be. Are you riding up to Spence Field or Gregorys Bald.
